Kathryn Weber's Flex Sig!

Kathryn Weber woke up one morning and went to the bathroom for her usual ritual.  When she wiped she discovered blood on the toilet paper!  A busy business woman has no time for such things, but knowing its better to be safe than sorry, she calls the Public Health Department and makes an appointment.  Much to her dismay she is told that she must have an enema before coming to her appointment.

She has an old fashioned enema can in her bathroom and takes it out, fills it, and gets up on her knees and down on her elbows on the bathroom floor, just as her mother used to make her do.  She inserts the long douche nozzle into her rectum and releases the water from the can.  Two quarts flow in and finally she is full and ready to expel it.  She removes the nozzle and sits on the toilet to relieve herself.

Kathryn dresses and goes to the Public Health Department and is shown to the exam room where she fills out the required questionnaire.  Dr. Albert Fish comes in and introduces himself and goes over the answers to the questions.  Kathryn is a bit put out by the whole thing and just wants to get it over with. 

Dr. Fish wants to do a quick rectal exam and has Kathryn pull her skirt up, lower her panties, and bend over the edge of the exam table.  He spreads her bottom apart and looks at her anus and then inserts his lubricated gloved finger deep into her rectum.

Dr. Fish tells Kathryn that she's going to have to have another enema to be completely cleaned out and then he's going to have to examine her rectum and colon with the flexible sigmoidoscope.   She protests and asks if that's really necessary.  Dr. Fish informs her that it certainly is.  He also tells her that he's going to have to take her temperature in her bottom and give her two shots! 

Kathryn lays face down on the table while Dr. Fish inserts the thermometer into her rectum.  Meanwhile he prepares two injections; one as a sedative and the other as an antibiotic.  He gives her the two injections, one on either side of her bottom.

While Dr. Fish goes to fill the enema bag, Kathryn is told to remove all her clothes and put on the hospital gown.  Dr. Fish returns with the bag filled to two quarts and attaches the inflatable nozzle. 

Before inserting the nozzle into her rectum and inflating it, he puts castile soap into the bag to make sure she is well cleaned out.  Taking a whole two quarts of soapy water takes awhile, but Kathryn does it.  She is escorted to the bathroom with the nozzle still in place and then leans over the edge of the counter while Dr. Fish releases the pressure and removes it.

Reporting back to the exam room, she is told how the flex sig will be done.  Kathryn lays on her left side and Dr. Fish inserts the sigmoidoscope into her bottom.  The exam is thorough and we get to see great images of the inside of Kathryn's rectum!

With the exception of a small scratch along the wall of her rectum, all is well and Kathryn is allowed to dress and leave, with a caution about eating better and taking care of herself.
