Lisa Blake wakes up feeling very hot and ill. She takes the thermometer off the night stand where she left it from the night before and takes her temperature. Lo and behold she has a fever! Lisa immediately calls the Public Health Department and makes an appointment with Dr. Albert Fish.

After showering, goes the doctor who takes her medical history and decides to take her temperature.

Unlike the way she did it at home, Dr. Fish has her lay down on the exam table so he can take her temperature rectally. Dr. Fish, being the observant individual that he is, notices that Lisa suffers from hemorrhoids.

He immediately suggests that she have a complete physical examination with particular emphasis on her rectum. She reluctantly agrees. After noticing that her temperature is elevated, Dr. Fish administers an injection of antibiotics into Lisa's bottom. Next, Lisa is instructed to undress and put on the hospital gown. She is given a physical exam including a complete pelvic exam.

In preparation for her rectal exam, Dr. Fish administers an enema to make certain she is cleaned out.

Lisa is given two rectal examinations! The first one is with the small anoscope. The second one is with the dreaded proctoscope! Dr. Fish finds several internal hemorrhoids and suggests that Lisa visit a proctologist to have them removed.

Before she's allowed to leave, she's given an injection.
