Kara and Tori are college students renting rooms from their young, widowed friend, Veronica. One day, the three girls go out for lunch, downing burgers at a fast food chain. They get home, only to turn on the TV and be confronted by a bulletin about a food poisoning epidemic in progress, caused by tainted meat from the restaurant chain at which they had just eaten. Viewers who ate there are urged to contact their local health department, which Veronica does immediately.

The girls soon find themselves at the local health department, being given bumbling, cold bureaucratic treatment and being made to wait in the cramped waiting room.

Veronica goes first and is "treated" to a physical exam, including having her temperature taken rectally, by the cold, insensitive Dr. Fish. (He graduated from the finest medical school in Guatamala, No. 243 out of a class of 250.) This is followed by a cleansing enema, then a large volume antibiotic enema, which Veronica must hold for several minutes!

Kara and Tori are shook-up enough by the whole ordeal, they insist on accompanying each other into the exam room for moral support.

They hold each others' hands while Dr. Fish administers almost the same treatment to them which Veronica got.....

......with the addition of the two younger girls getting gynecological exams, using the latest high-tech lighted speculum. Tori is treated to an open-air pre-insertion demonstration of the inflatable enema retention nozzle.

Neither of the two girls had ever had an enema before and both were dreading it. Tori didn't like the procedure at all, but everyone got a surprise when Kara turned out to be somewhat anally-erotic and wasn't at all shy about sharing her feelings with the others.

All three girls had suffered through two enemas each (well, Kara suffered it gladly) and they were ready to go home and play couch potato. That's when they got their second rude shock of the day.

But we won't spoil the surprise ending.
