Tatiana has been told to report to the Public Health Department prior to going to the radiologist for her barium enema. She needs to be completely cleaned out for the procedure. This was before the days of laxative prep that had to be taken the night before the exam. You've heard of 'enemas til clear?' Poor Tatiana is in for three large volume enemas administered by Dr. Fish.

The first thing that he has her do is lay down on the table with her pants lowered so that her rectal temperature can be taken.

Then she is told to undress completely and put on the special hospital gown. Tatiana is given instructions to get up on her knees and down on her elbows with her knees apart and her bottom well out. Dr. Fish begins the procedure with a bulb syringe. Repeatedly filling the syringe from a bowl of soapy water he administers multiple doses of water into Tatiana's waiting rectum. She is then allowed to use the toilet. This is the first of three complete toilet scenes that you will see!

Next she returns for the inflatable nozzle. Once again, up on her knees and down on her elbows she offers her bare bottom for the uncomfortable inflatable nozzle. Lubricating her anus first, Dr. Fish forces the wide nozzle into her rectum and inflates it. She then receives two liters of water! After another prolonged session on the toilet, Tatiana returns for the third and final cleansing.

This time Dr. Fish selects a colon tube. Again she receives two liters of water before being allowed to expel the enema.
